transformers constructbots

My 7 year old received an awesome toy to try out from bzzagent.com a couple weeks ago.  Transformers Constructbots.  When I signed up for the campaign, I didn't realize how much we'd be getting - two boxes of pieces - 135 pieces total!  Each box comes with an instruction book with pictures, making it very easy for my 7 year old to figure out on his own.  He got started and kept going for a good hour!

Ball Park Flame Grilled Patties

I got to try these for Bzz Agent!  I was so disappointed at first, because nowhere I looked had them.  I ended up sending my coupon for a free package to a friend out of state.  Then DH came home today and said, "Guess what I found at the store today!"  They just started stocking them this week!

We had them for dinner tonight.  We bought the beef and cheese variety, since I'm not a beef and onion fan, and those were our only two options.

The burgers themselves had pretty good taste.  I couldn't taste the cheese very well, so I might add a slice next time.  DH said he could taste it though.

He cooked them on the grill, and he said he is glad he did.  He said coming out of the package, they were a pretty sick (not a good sick) color.  He is afraid they would look disgusting if we had just microwaved them instead of throwing them on the grill for some color.

Best burgers ever?  Not really.  Could be thicker, could be a bit more flavorful.  Convenient? Definitely.

children's claritin chewables

we recently received a box of children's claritin chewables from bzzagent.com.  i wish (i guess?? do i ever wish i could give my child medicine?) we could use them, but allergy season hasn't hit here, apparently - not enough for my boy to suffer, anyway.  i will say though, that we have used these in the past.  we used them last year and they were wonderful.  apparently the taste is fine, because my boy chewed them without making a face.  and that's more than i can say for the children's claritin syrup - both he and my nephew both complain about it being "spicy", even though it's grape flavor, and my boy won't take it anymore.

last year, it cleared up symptoms wonderfully.  if allergy season ever hits here this year (it's been a weird winter/spring here... nothing is normal this year!), we'll definitely be using these again!!

science diet dog food

We recently were invited to try Science Diet Ideal Balance dog food for our dogs. We got a coupon code to order a 4 lb bag from petfooddirect.com. It came quickly and we fed it to our dogs!

Now this is a hard one to review, because it's not as if our dogs can tell us if they liked it or not. They ate it as quickly as they do their other food, so they must have liked it... right? And it didn't make them any more smelly than any other time we feed them... and that is ALWAYS a plus!

The 4 lb bag didn't last us long - two days - but for something free to try, it was fantastic! If we had somewhere to buy it locally, we'd probably buy the Science Diet brand. I will have to look at petfooddirect.com and see how much it is on there and how much shipping is so we can consider it again.

burt's bees sensitive

I recently got to try out Burt's Bees Sensitive face wash and moisturizer, as a Bzz Agent for www.bzzagent.com.

At first, I hated the face wash. It made me break out, big fat breakouts! I kept with it though and it seems to be lessening. I think it was pulling out all the impurities before it started "working". I will say, the packaging is fantastic... I keep it on the floor of my standing shower and when I snap open the lid, it's not holding water like a lot of bottles do! It is very soft on the face, and it doesn't have an overpowering scent. I can hardly smell it at all, in fact.

The moisturizer, I really like. You only need a tiny bit - a little goes a long way! That means the bottle will last for a very long time! YAY for that! It also has no overpowering scent, and it feels good going on your face.
